Greatly enjoyed our lovely stay there a lot. "It's a special hotel with affable staff and excellent internet. - "the absolutely perfect and exceptionally nice location was close to a picture gallery. - "There was a small convenience store and a shop around the venue.

The staff at the Hotel were NOT friendly. The free wifi did not work. The continental breakfast was sub-standard. I felt that the $ 280 euro/night rate was not good value for the dollar.

This hotel is terrific, located very close to St Mark's Square and Rialto Bridge. the small double room I stayed in was exceptionally nice, with all amenities including air conditioning. I wouldn't mind spending the whole day there.

Terrific hotel, it offers nice services and stunning location not far from central San Marco, Venice and the main attractions. The stuff is adorable and good at all the levels. The breakfast is incredibly nice served with ample coffee, sweet options plus croissants.

It is so close to San Marco and the Rialto for a budget price. Plus, Valentina is so sweet and helpful, she recommended a wonderful restaurant for our last night and gave advice as to which islands to visit. My sister and I had an even better time in Venice thanks to her! I would definitely stay here again.

The staff is great, a very cozy place to stay. The suit is beautifull with a view to the canal.

    Location, atmosphere

when booking i could choose between room with and room without a/c. it being mid-July i opted for with a/c. the actual room i got was without. when i suggested they either give me a roomwith a/c or charge the rate for a room without a/c, the guy at the receptio was very unforthcoming, in the end i was offered a eur 6,50 discount, which was a lot less than the price differential of the two rates posted on the internet.

Cozy up in the small double room with a shared bathroom for a charming stay. the staff here are super helpful, especially the hostess who makes you feel right at home. 🌟

The location was excellent, midway between St. Peter's Square and the Rialto. We had a corner room on a canal with a constant, nice parade of gondolas complete with singing and accordion music. The staff were excellent and very helpful. The morning breakfast was good but without espresso drinks.

Our room and perhaps the hotel suffer from deferred maintenance. Our opening windows and shutters were balky or malfunctioned (although I knew how to get them to work). The room had been rather poorly cleaned with orange peels and some trash on the large window sill overlooking the canal; the microwave was really dirty and missing the rotating glass plate. The air conditioner had a malfunctioning remote (fixed by the time we returned later in the day); we had no hot water for morning showers on day 2 due to a problem with the hotel's hot water heating system. Our room had kitchen facilities but no utensils or dishes or other items to use.

Nice Old building along the channel and bridge, excellent location and street itself is suprisingly calm but in the centre of everything, all shopping near, only 7 rooms, very friendly hostess Valentina, you have your own key, very romantic and calm atmosphere.

Very small and simple room, no tv, some problems with hot water,

I loved the location of the Hotel Casa Petrarca. It was a bit difficult to find do to my lack of knowledge of Italian, but people are very friendly and helped me locate it. It is easy to reach from the Vaporetta stop and it is close to everything. The room was clean and although I had the shared bathroom there was no problem. The bathroom was also very clean. The wifi was free with connection in the lobby. Although the staff was not on duty for 24 hours I had no problems since I was given the key to enter the building and hotel area. The breakfast was very good and the staff was very efficient.

It was in perfect location, everything was in walking distance to the main sites in Venice. Once you know where your hotel is, it was easy to locate how close everything were. Also, there was a lovely music travelling along from one of the restaurant which really gave a touch of romance to the whole thing.
